WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD?
There are two identical class structures on Saturday and Sunday. Each student is assigned to a section on either of those two days.
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE CLASSES?
Live sessions will be 90 minutes each.
HOW ARE THE QUALITY OF THE INSTRUCTORS?
Kalvi only hires instructors who score a perfect on the standardized test(s) they are responsible for delivering.
WHAT COURSE MATERIALS WILL STUDENTS NEED?
We will provide PDFs of materials used in the class, and will recommend other material for self-study. All of our course materials, (including PDFs, homework assignments, and announcements) and also available in our Google Classroom.
WHO WILL BE TAKING THESE CLASSES?
We have an array of students across grade levels, and we group them by readiness (grade level + material previously covered).
IF I AM NOT SATISFIED AT ANY TIME DURING THE COURSE, CAN I REQUEST FOR REFUND OF THE COURSE FEE?
We cannot prorate and retroactively refund the course fees after the material has been delivered. However, we would encourage you to pay on the Monthly plan, where you can cancel subsequent months (without penalty) at any time!
HOW WILL KALVI PREP DETERMINE THE PROGRESS OF STUDENTS DURING
THE COURSE PERIOD?
The lessons themselves will be interactive, and include tools like live answer polls to keep students engaged and identify individual gaps. Our focus on SAT strategies and tips/tricks also means that the small group sessions are beneficial in demonstrating common mistakes. Outside of the main lecture session, we offer periodic 1 on 1 check-in touchpoint meetings with students to talk about their specific needs and formulate growth strategies. Further, we hold virtual office hours where students can drop in with questions and get more personalized help.
Put simply: we use a small group setting to teach at the high level and individualized help where it counts the most. Report cards will also be issued to students and parents on an as-needed basis.
